In April, the monthly inflation rate increased by 0.52%, a lower variation than that recorded in the previous month (2.38%). Year-on-year inflation stood at 4.01%, remaining outside the 1% to 3% target range set by the Central Reserve Bank of Peru (BCRP) for the second consecutive month.
