In June, manufacturing GDP contracted by 6.2% compared with June 2025. This result was mainly driven by a significant decline in primary manufacturing (-18.4%), associated with lower industrial fishing activity due to the effects of the El Niño phenomenon. The slight decline in non-primary manufacturing (-1.6%) also contributed to the overall contraction.
