Manufacturing Industry Directory
This section presents the directory of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) operating in the manufacturing sector. The directory includes the following information: company name, International Standard Industrial Classification (ISIC) Revision 3, ISIC description, and location by department, province, and district. This information is sourced from the administrative records of the National Superintendence of Tax Administration (SUNAT), the Ministry of Production, and private entities.
The manufacturing sector includes the following activities:
- Production of food products.
- Production of fresh fishery products (e.g., oyster shucking, fish filleting) that are not performed on board fishing vessels.
- Printing and related activities.
- Production of mill products, starches, and starch products.
- Leather processing.
- Wood preservation.
- Veneering, plating, metal heat treatment, and polishing.
- Reconstruction or new fabrication of machinery (e.g., motor vehicle engines).
- Tire Retreading.
Manufacturing production in 2023 declined by 6.8% compared to 2022. This decrease is attributed to a 2.0% reduction in domestic demand, a contraction in manufacturing exports (including textiles, chemicals, iron and steel, and wood), social conflicts within the country, and adverse weather conditions that disrupted normal industrial operations.
In 2024, manufacturing production is expected to recover by (+3.5%), driven by a positive statistical effect in the primary sectors, particularly in fishery products. Both primary manufacturing (+6.4%) and non-primary manufacturing (+2.5%) are anticipated to contribute to this positive outcome.
