This document is published annually and seeks to deepen the understanding of Peruvian MSMEs and their interaction with the market, with an emphasis on formal enterprises, based on information available from administrative records and official surveys. Thus, in 2021, with progress in the COVID-19 vaccination process, the easing of restrictions, and the implementation of a series of stimulus and support measures for MSMEs to counteract the effects of the pandemic, this business segment showed a gradual recovery.
