In July 2024, manufacturing production recorded a significant increase of 10.9%. This result was driven by the significant increase in the primary subsector (+12.6%), mainly due to industrial fishing (+65.1%) amid greater availability of raw material —anchovy. It was also driven by the non-primary subsector (+10.4%), attributed to increased production of consumer goods, intermediate goods, and industrial services.
