In Peru, micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (Mipyme) are vital to the economy, representing 99.4% of all businesses, employing 89.4% of the private sector workforce, contributing 12.6% to corporate income tax revenue, and generating 5.8% of total exports. In this context, the General Office of Impact Evaluation and Economic Studies (OGEIEE) of the Ministry of Production (PRODUCE) offers essential insights into the performance of Mipyme nationwide.
