In November 2024, the volume of landings of hydrobiological resources in the Fisheries Sector reached a total of 1,125.6 thousand metric tons (MT), representing significant growth of 33.2% compared to the same month in 2023. This result is mainly due to the increased extraction of anchoveta for Indirect Human Consumption (IHC) (+41.5%). In contrast, there was a decrease in the extraction of resources destined for Direct Human Consumption (DHC) (-35.9%). The positive performance of fish landings for IHC is attributed to the increase in anchoveta fishing (+41.5%).
