February 2025: Domestic Trade Current Situation Report

In February 2025, domestic trade sales recorded a slight year-on-year decline of 1.2%. This decrease was mainly attributed to the weaker performance of department stores, supermarkets, and pharmacies, which were affected by the temporary closure of several shopping centers due to infrastructure deficiencies. By category, declines were observed in sales of supermarkets and hypermarkets (-2.9%), department stores (-2.8%), and pharmacies and drugstores (-1.1%).
