In May 2025, domestic trade sales recorded significant growth of 8.8% compared to May 2024. This increase was mainly attributed to the positive performance of department stores, supermarkets, home equipment stores, book and newspaper retailers, and pharmacies, driven by the Mother’s Day sales campaign and the significant growth of domestic demand (+9.0%).
