The GDP of the fisheries sector recorded a strong 34.8% increase in July 2025 compared to the same month of the previous year. This result was mainly driven by higher anchovy catches for indirect human consumption in the north-central zone. Landings reached 369.2 thousand tons, representing a 97.7% increase versus July 2024 (186.7 thousand tons).
