In September, monthly inflation in Metropolitan Lima stood at +0.01%, a result higher than that recorded in the previous month (-0.29%). This outcome was largely explained by price increases in products such as onions, lemons, bus and minibus fares, tomatoes, and jack mackerel. Meanwhile, the decline in prices of other items such as eggs, mangoes, dressed chicken, green peas, and interprovincial bus fares partially offset inflationary pressures.
