In August 2025, the landing of hydrobiological resources recorded a year-on-year decline of 23.4%, mainly explained by the decrease in the catch of species destined for Direct Human Consumption (DHC) (-28.5%). However, this result was partially offset by a significant increase in the extraction of anchoveta for Indirect Human Consumption (IHC) (+1,989.0%).
