In October 2025, the landing volume of hydrobiological resources in the fishing sector reached 169.4 thousand metric tons (MT), representing a 109.1% increase compared to the same month in 2024. This growth was mainly driven by the higher catch of species destined for Direct Human Consumption (DHC) (+117.1%), which was partially offset by a decline in the extraction of anchoveta for Indirect Human Consumption (IHC) (-75.3%).
