In November 2025, the GDP of the fishing sector experienced a 17.8% decline compared to the same month of the previous year. This decrease was mainly due to lower anchovy extraction for fishmeal and fish oil (CHI). Total landings reached 829.7 thousand tons, representing a 26.5% decrease compared to November 2024 (1,129.5 thousand tons).
