The Ministry of Production and the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) published the results of an international study on the effects of financial support schemes on the performance of MSMEs during the COVID-19 pandemic, developed within the framework of the APEC Small and Medium Enterprises Working Group. The study analyzes and compares the policies implemented in Australia, Canada, Chile, Mexico, and Peru, showing that these measures were essential to sustaining employment, easing liquidity constraints, and preventing the mass closure of businesses.
