The Ministerio de la Production and the APEC published the results of the international study on the effects of financial support schemes on the performance of MSMEs during the COVID-19 pandemic, developed within the framework of the Grupo de Trabajo de Pequeñas y Medianas Empresas. The research analyzes and compares the policies implemented in Australia, Canada, Chile, Mexico and Peru, showing that these measures were fundamental for sustaining employment, easing liquidity constraints, and preventing the mass closure of businesses.
