The Ministry of Production and the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) published the results of an international study on the effects of formalization programs on the productivity and survival of micro and small enterprises. The study analyzes experiences in Australia, Canada, Chile, Mexico, and Peru, showing that participating enterprises improve their performance, market access, and integration into the financial and regulatory system, especially when programs combine formalization with support services such as access to financing and market linkages.
