In December 2025, the landing volume of hydrobiological resources in the fishing sector reached 848.5 thousand metric tons (MT), representing a 14.6% decline compared to the same month in 2024. This decrease was mainly driven by the lower catch of anchoveta destined for Indirect Human Consumption (IHC) (-24.0%), which was partially offset by the higher catch of species destined for Direct Human Consumption (DHC) (+112.0%).
