In April 2023, internal trade sales registered moderate growth of 5.1% compared to April 2022, marking three consecutive months of positive results. This growth was driven by increased sales of mass consumption products (+17.3%) and pharmaceuticals (+8.7%). In contrast, this growth was affected by lower sales in hardware stores (-11.1%), books, newspapers, and stationery items (-8.5%), as well as home equipment products (-9.1%).
