In April 2024, sales in the domestic trade sector recorded a slight year-on-year decline of 2.6%, as a result of lower sales across activities within the sector, such as supermarkets and hypermarkets (-6.0%), department stores (-8.2%), and hardware and home improvement stores (-5.2%).
