April 2025: Fisheries Statistical Bulletin

In April 2025, the volume of landed fishery resources totaled 591.6 thousand metric tons (MT), reflecting a significant decrease of 32.1% compared to the same month in 2024. This decline was mainly due to a reduction in anchovy landings for Indirect Human Consumption (IHC) (-43.4%), which was partially offset by an increase in the catch of species intended for Direct Human Consumption (DHC) (+63.9%).
