April 2025 – Current Report on Domestic Trade

In April 2025, domestic trade sales grew by 5.3% compared to April 2024. This result was mainly driven by the positive performance of domestic demand (+2.5%) and the seasonal effect of the Easter holiday, which boosted tourism and activities related to the celebration. In addition, notable increases were recorded in sales from supermarkets and hypermarkets (+2.2%), department stores (+13.6%), hardware and home improvement stores (+7.0%), pharmacies and drugstores (+4.5%), home equipment stores (+4.3%), and bookstores, newspapers, and stationery shops (+8.7%).
