In August 2025, aquaculture harvest reached 7,230 MT, a figure 23.0% lower than in August 2024 (9,391 MT). This result was mainly due to lower harvests of scallops (-42.3%) and trout (-25.6%). Likewise, during this month, aquaculture activity contributed 31.5% to Fisheries and Aquaculture GDP and 0.05% to National GDP, equivalent to PEN 23 million at constant 2007 prices.
