In 2025, the national aquaculture harvest totaled 105,324 MT, representing a 10.5% decrease compared to 2024. This decline was due to lower harvests of scallops (-10.6%), tilapia (-16.0%), and trout (-23.3%). However, it was partially offset by the increase in shrimp harvests (+17.5%).
