Based on the available databases, two estimation methods were evaluated for the sixth generation of StartUp Peru: i) the pairing method and ii) the regression discontinuity method. As a result of the study, a trimmed sample was estimated that allows the impact evaluation to be carried out on the basis of comparable projects.

FONDEPES's financial support program is aimed at increasing the productivity of artisanal fishermen and shipowners through the acquisition of more technologically advanced goods and services needed to improve the process of catching hydrobiological resources.
Methodological Note of the Impact Evaluation of the "Training and technical assistance to artisanal fishermen through the Artisanal Fishing Extension Service SEPA".
A quasi-experimental estimation using the Propensity Score Matching technique was conducted for artisanal fishermen to obtain preliminary results. Positive effects on fishermen's participation in the SEPA program were found.
