Negotiable invoices have had a significant impact on the Peruvian economy, increasing their share in both business credit and Gross Domestic Product (GDP) as of April 2024. Financing through negotiable invoices represented 18.9% of business credit as of April 2024, compared to 0.2% in the early years of the analysis. In addition, negotiable invoices have increased their contribution to economic activity, rising from 0.05% of GDP in 2015 to 3.79% as of April 2024.
