Over the past five years (2019–2023), production in the plastics industry has shown positive growth, increasing at an average annual rate of 1.4%. In 2024, plastics production grew by 5.5% compared to the same period of the previous year, driven by greater access to raw materials due to lower resin costs, which enabled higher production levels and improvements in the final consumer price.
