In December, monthly inflation in Metropolitan Lima reached +0.11%, marking an increase compared to the previous month (0.09%). This result was driven by higher prices for interprovincial bus fares, domestic airfares, taxi fares, tangerines, and green peas. These upward pressures were partially offset by price declines in bonito fish, white potatoes, eggs, jack mackerel, and mangoes; however, these decreases were not sufficient to counterbalance the overall rise in other prices.
