In January 2025, aquaculture harvest reached a total of 8.3 thousand MT, representing a 9.1% decrease compared to the same month of the previous year. This decline was mainly due to lower harvests of trout (-39.4%) and tilapia (-32.5%), both affected by adverse weather conditions. However, this drop was partially offset by higher harvests of scallops (+55.4%) and shrimp (+1.2%).
