Between 2020 and 2024, GDP in the textile and apparel sector declined slightly, at an average annual rate of 1.1%. In 2024*, the sector’s GDP grew by 10.1%, mainly driven by the recovery of exports and the domestic market. The industry also contributed 7.3% to manufacturing GDP and 0.9% to national GDP.
