In July 2025, aquaculture harvest totaled 6,359 metric tons (MT), representing a 24.0% decrease compared to July 2024 (8,331 MT). This decline was mainly driven by lower harvest levels of scallops (-74.1%) and trout (-7.4%). During the same month, the aquaculture sector accounted for 16.2% of the Fisheries and Aquaculture GDP and 0.04% of the National GDP, equivalent to 22 million soles (at constant 2007 prices).
