In July 2025, aquaculture harvest reached 6,359 MT, a figure 24.0% lower than in July 2024 (8,331 MT). This result was mainly due to lower harvests of scallops (-74.1%) and trout (-7.4%). Likewise, during this month, aquaculture activity contributed 16.2% to Fisheries and Aquaculture GDP and 0.04% to National GDP, equivalent to PEN 22 million at constant 2007 prices.
