July 2025: Sectoral Inflation Report

In July 2025, the monthly inflation rate in Metropolitan Lima was +0.23%, representing a higher variation than that recorded in the previous month (+0.13%). This month’s inflation was largely driven by price increases in products such as bonito fish, interprovincial bus fares, jack mackerel, papaya, and corn. Meanwhile, price reductions in other items—such as whole chicken, eggs, long pasta noodles, chicken leg, and green peas—partially offset inflationary pressures.
