In June 2024, total landings amounted to 362.2 thousand metric tons, representing an expansion of 133.2% compared to the same month of the previous year. This result was mainly explained by the increase in anchoveta landings intended for indirect human consumption (IHC), which rose by 481.6%, reaching a utilized anchoveta volume of 241.6 thousand metric tons. In addition, catches of resources intended for direct human consumption (DHC) increased by 6.0%.
