June 2024: Statistical Bulletin of domestic trade

In June 2025, sales in the domestic trade sector grew by 1.5% year-on-year, marking four consecutive months of expansion. The result was driven by Father’s Day promotions and stronger domestic demand (+8.7%), which contributed to higher retail sales. By economic activity, growth was led by supermarkets and hypermarkets (+1.3%), hardware and finishing stores (+5.5%), home equipment (+1.7%), pharmacies and drugstores (+4.2%), and bookstores (+4.4%).
