June 2025: Domestic Trade Statistical Bulletin

In June 2025, sales in the domestic trade sector grew by 1.5% year-on-year, marking four consecutive months of growth. This result was driven by the Father’s Day sales campaign and stronger domestic demand (+8.7%), which may have contributed to higher sales in the retail sector. By economic activity, growth was led by supermarkets and hypermarkets (+1.3%), hardware and home improvement stores (+5.5%), home equipment stores (+1.7%), pharmacies and drugstores (+4.2%), and bookstores (+4.4%).
