In June 2025, the GDP of the fishing sector recorded a significant 33.7% increase compared to the same month of the previous year. This result was mainly driven by higher anchovy catches for indirect human consumption (IHC). Total landings reached 614.5 thousand tons, representing a 69.7% increase compared to June 2024 (362.2 thousand tons).
