This document is published annually and aims to deepen the understanding of Peruvian MSMEs and their interaction with the market, with an emphasis on those that are formal, based on information available from administrative records and official surveys. Thus, in 2021, with the progress of the COVID-19 vaccination process, the easing of restrictions, and the implementation of a series of stimulus and support measures for MSMEs to counteract the effects of the pandemic, a gradual recovery of this business segment is evident.
