Total landings of hydrobiological resources amounted to 137.6 thousand metric tons, 78.3 thousand metric tons below the level recorded in March 2021, when landings reached 215.9 thousand metric tons. This decrease was mainly explained by lower extractive activity in artisanal fishing intended for direct human consumption (DHC) (-32.0%), as well as by a reduction in anchoveta landings in the southern zone intended for indirect human consumption (IHC) (-45.6%).
