March 2025 – Current Report on Domestic Trade

In March 2025, domestic trade sales grew by 6.0% compared to March 2024. This increase is mainly attributed to the positive performance of department stores, supermarkets, home improvement, and pharmacies, driven by a roughly 4% rise in domestic demand. The standout sectors were supermarkets and hypermarkets (+5.8%), department stores (+3.6%), hardware and finishing stores (+2.0%), home furnishings (+14.7%), and pharmacies and drugstores (+10.9%).
