March 2025: Sectoral Inflation Report

In March, the monthly inflation rate in Metropolitan Lima was +0.81%, marking an increase compared to the previous month (+0.19%). This result is mainly explained by the rise in the prices of private school tuition, eviscerated chicken, and hen eggs. On the other hand, the decrease in the prices of granadilla, mandarin, domestic airfare, gasohol, and interprovincial bus fares partially offset deflationary pressures.
