In March 2026, sales in the domestic trade sector recorded year-on-year growth of 8.9% compared to the same month in 2025. This performance was driven by the increase in domestic demand (+7.4%), amid a recovery in private consumption. This result was also influenced by greater household liquidity resulting from pension fund (AFP) withdrawals, which strengthened spending capacity and supported the replacement and acquisition of durable goods.
