In March 2026, landings of hydrobiological resources in the fishing sector totaled 146.4 thousand metric tons, representing a 30.8% decrease compared to the same month in 2025. This decline was mainly explained by lower anchoveta catches intended for indirect human consumption (IHC) (-94.5%), as well as lower catches of species intended for direct human consumption (DHC) (-7.5%).
