In March 2025, aquaculture harvest amounted to 7,177 MT, a figure 18.0% higher than in March 2024 (6,065 MT). This result was mainly due to a significant increase in the harvests of scallops (+80.2%) and shrimp (+39.3%). In addition, frozen aquaculture production totaled 3,850 gross metric tons (GMT), a figure 130.0% higher than in March 2024, when production volume reached 1,673 GMT.
