In November 2025, GDP in the fishing sector declined by 17.8% compared to the same month of the previous year. This result was mainly explained by lower anchoveta catches intended for indirect human consumption (IHC). Total landings amounted to 829.7 thousand metric tons, representing a 26.5% decrease compared to November 2024, when landings reached 1,129.5 thousand metric tons.
