In November, the GDP of fisheries sector experienced a notable growth of 17.6% compared to the same month of the previous year. The total volume of fish landings reached 1,125.6 thousand metric tons, representing a substantial increase of 33.2% compared to the same month last year. This result was primarily driven by the rise in anchovy landings intended for Indirect Human Consumption (IHC) (+41.5%). In contrast, the extraction of resources for Direct Human Consumption (DHC) experienced a decrease of 35.9%.
