In October 2025, aquaculture harvest reached 10,726 MT, a figure 24.0% lower than in October 2024 (14,091 MT). This result was mainly due to lower harvests of trout (-62.6%), tilapia (-31.8%), and scallops (-16.1%). Likewise, during this month, the activity contributed 29.3% to Fisheries and Aquaculture GDP and 0.06% to National GDP, equivalent to PEN 31 million at constant 2007 prices.
