In October 2025, the GDP of the fishing sector recorded a significant growth of 25.7% compared to the same month of the previous year. This result was mainly driven by the higher extraction of resources for CHD (frozen and fresh products). Landings totaled 169.4 thousand metric tons, representing a 109.1% increase compared to October 2024 (81.0 thousand MT).
