Today, may 14, a total of 341.0 metric tons of hydrobiological resources entered the wholesale markets of Lima (Villa María del Triunfo) and Callao (Ventanilla) — a 31.9% increase compared to yesterday’s supply. The main species with the highest volumes today were giant squid (pota), mullet (lisa), and jack mackerel (jurel). Additionally, 201.8 metric tons of hydrobiological resources were delivered to the wholesale fish markets in Tumbes, Piura, Lambayeque, La Libertad, Áncash, Arequipa, Ica, Tacna, Cajamarca, Loreto, and Ucayali.
