In September 2024, sales in the domestic trade sector increased by 1.8% year-on-year, driven by higher sales in supermarkets and hypermarkets (+0.1%), department stores (+12.7%), home equipment (+3.3%), and pharmacies and drugstores (+0.8%). This growth was partly offset by a decline in sales of books, newspapers, and stationery items (-16.8%) and hardware and finishing products (-0.04%).
