In September 2025, landings of hydrobiological resources in the fishing sector totaled 141.4 thousand metric tons, representing a 70.9% increase compared to the same month in 2024. This growth was mainly explained by higher catches of species intended for direct human consumption (DHC) (+72.2%), although it was partially offset by a decline in anchoveta catches intended for indirect human consumption (IHC) (-100.0%).
