In September, the GDP of the fishing sector recorded a moderate growth of 6.4% compared to the same month of the previous year. This result was mainly driven by the higher extraction of resources for CHD (frozen and canned products). Landings totaled 141.4 thousand metric tons, representing a 70.9% increase compared to September 2024 (82.8 thousand MT).
